The Mississippi Human Trafficking Council (MHTC) is a partnership of the US Attorney’s Office, Southern and Northern Districts of MS, and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
In a victim-centered, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary model, we Partner to Prevent Trafficking, Protect Victims and Prosecute Criminals in all forms of domestic and international human trafficking, to include commercial sex trafficking and labor trafficking, for the protection of both adult and minor victims. The MHTC meets monthly, and the subcommittees meet monthly-bimonthly depending on need.
