JACKSON, Miss. – In remembrance of the 20th anniversary of September 11th, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety is partnering with the Mississippi Braves to host First Responder and Military Appreciation Night.
First responders, active-duty and retired military, and Mississippi Department of Public Safety employees are eligible to receive complimentary tickets to the game against the Montgomery Biscuits on Saturday, September 11th at 6:05 p.m. The game will include a special flyover presented by the Mississippi Air National Guard and post-game fireworks. Tickets will be available at the Mississippi Braves ticket office on game day and can be received by presenting a valid work ID or law enforcement badge.
“Each day, first responders and members of our military risk their lives to ensure our safety,” said Commissioner Sean Tindell. “The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is proud to partner with the Mississippi Braves to host First Responder and Military Appreciation Night. It is our hope that this event conveys our respect and appreciation for these heroes.”
